This project was created at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic under last-minute changes in setting. I quickly developed a new storyline that remained engaging, newsworthy and captivating for the audience.

On Sept. 1, 2017, the Randolph Township Board of Education decided to alcohol test the entire student section at a home football game after an open beer can was thrown toward an administrator.

This incident inspired me to deepen my interest in journalism and covering primary and everyday issues.
